Helping Children with Tragic Events in the News

We're all very shaken from the recent tragic events. This includes our kids. One of the most important messages we can give them when they’re feeling anxious is, “I’m sad about the news, and I’m worried. But I love you, and I’m here to care for you.” We hope these tips from PBS KIDS on how to talk to kids about tragic news events can be helpful.
